On July 22, 2014, Aldean released a new song "Burnin' It Down". It is the lead single to his sixth studio album, Old Boots, New Dirt which was released on October 7, 2014. This song reached number one on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay chart.[10] The album's second single, "Just Gettin' Started", was released to country radio on November 10, 2014.
