Carole King's 1977 album Simple Things was her first release on the Avatar/Capitol label, which featured the international hit 'Hard Rock Café?'. The album was certified Gold in the US and reached the top 20 on the Billboard charts. It was also the album where Carole King introduced Rick Evers as her lyric collaborator, who later became her husband. Simple Things is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on translucent red colored vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve and includes an insert.
