The album features "Born Under A Bad Sign", which was a cover of Albert King and was used as a supporting soundtrack in the Clint Eastwood movie Pink Cadillac (1989). During the same year as the release of Talk To Your Daughter, the album received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Recording.
