Trombonist Hiroshi Suzuki, who made significant contributions to the Japanese jazz scene from modern jazz to free jazz, recorded this album during a temporary return to Japan in 1975 after relocating to the United States in 1971. He reunited with former Freedom Unity bandmates Akira Ishikawa, Takeru Muraoka, Hiromasa Suzuki, and Kunimitsu Inaba to craft this exceptional recording. From the sharp and driving 'Shrimp Dance, ' the dynamic 'Kuro To Shiro, ' the soulful 'Walk Tall, ' and the deep groove of 'Cat, ' to the mellow and melodic 'Romance, ' each track bursts with vivid rhythm, making this album a true gem in Japanese jazz history.
