The band is well known for combining elements of heavy metal with many other musical genres, and their lyrics have been described as "bizarrely humorous." I Started A Joke is a song from the 1968 Bee Gees album Idea and became a No. 6 hit in the US. Faith No More originally covered the song in 1995, and was released as their final single before the band's dissolution.
