2020 started off with Cryptodira in the studio with producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, The Contortionist) recording a new full-length, The Angel of History, and confirming tour offers to follow it's release. The band was just about to announce the release date and pre-orders, and then Covid-19 happened. The album was pushed back, the tours were postponed and the world went into lockdown. After weighing all options, Cryptodira wasn't going to let the pandemic stop them. They pushed forward - releasing a digital EP titled "Better Left Unsaid", collaborating once more with director Anthony Altamura and filming a music video, and then deciding not to wait for touring and live events to return.
